Hallo, B! For one terrible and wholly irrational moment when I first saw your post on my PS, I thought I'd had a visitation from Justin the Preacher.
I'm going quietly insane at the moment, due to the almost imminent deadline for my Masters thesis at the the end of the month. As a result I'm spending a bit more time on h2g2 than I have for the previous few months 
I gather you're enjoying the teaching malarky? Where have they sent you for the practical experience?
Congratulations on getting a job, by the way

Ta muchly.
My current teaching practice is out in Bridgend, which is a bit of a drag first thing in the morning.
Lucky I got away from my 'orrible landlady and settled down in Beck House really.

I'm sure she wouldn't have been impressed if you'd been banging about before curfew was over! Pity the poor bod who filled your place there - assuming you didn't mangage to put her off taking lodgers for ever.
