Contributing is good. I am too lazy for writing entries myself. Perhaps the reason is in language skills.
I am mostly hanging around in cafés and pubs, having conversations here and there, drinking ...

How exactly do you contribute to collaborative efforts? I'd really like to contribute, but don't know where to start.

Also, how do you link from one article to the other?

I'm a novice but would really like to learn

Writing is everything to me... that's why contributing comes naturally. I mean, English is not even my first language, go figure. Writing is a compulsion :D

The easiest way of contributing is offered on the front page (h2g2 sign in the left corner of the page, if you use goo skin), this weeks topic or something like this.
Also here is a button Contribute . If you press it you can find loads of information about contributing.

Oh God I didn't actually know I had my own ACE, it's a bit scary There's so much I have to learn (like how to put all the nice smiley faces and thingies in the posts...) but this is really what I need at this time in my life

There are lots of all kind of societies and clubs and such on h2g2. If we knew better what do you exactly want to do here we could perhaps give you some advice. OTOH (on the other hand) you can easily find your own way through it as it seems.

Do you have , Crocodilka? The Angels are not so active these days as they used to be... I had a very nice myself when I was new here. I haven't met her for ages though, maybe because of time zones - she is from US.

Well, I didn't have ACE. I asked for one only this year when I thought that I could need one. Now I have a very kind ACE Clive.
