Work
Posted Jun 9, 2002
Someone wrote an entire piece on the "work ethic" in this week's Post.. quite honestly I don't really have one. I am at work at the moment , on the computer of course, due to the fact that there really isn't bloody anything for me to be doing.
My gentleman was just in here.. That was nice, although I really didn't get to spend any time with him. I haven't seen him since Wednesday morning, although that is probably a good thing due to the frame of mind I have been in for the past few days..
I think I'm going mad. Or just female.. Due to the fact that I began to cry yesterday for absotively no reason. I think my mum wouldn't tell me how long the ham was going to cook or something ridiculous like that..
Anyway I'm off.

Sleep Fiend
Posted Jun 8, 2002
I spent all day either sleeping, shopping, or on H2.
What a wonderful day!
Only thing that could have made it better would be a gentleman caller by the name of Chad..
but of course, that would have tired me out more and I slept away quite enough of today, thank you
I have that old song "What a wonderful world" stuck in my head..
Even though I'm listening to the Ataris..
I think it's time to paint my nails with glitter and feel like a faerie in my sarong skirt..

Influenza
Posted Jun 7, 2002
Just wondering if anyone else has the spectacular influenza that's roaming California (and possibly the States) at the moment.
It's horrid.
*wink* Gives me an excuse to laze about the house and do absolutely nothing but sleep, read, and crawl the nets, however.
Gotta love that.

I need to learn how to make myself go to sleep..
I think I'm going to get some munchies and then put myself to bed with a good book..
Neil Gaiman and Francesca Lia Block, what more can I ask for?
...possibly another DNA book, but I can hold my breath until I turn blue, and I won't get one...
So earthly authors shall have to do.
I'm sure no one wants to read another bloody "woe is me, DNA is gone, bla bla" entry..
but that man's humor fit so well for me..
Thanks for the books, Mr. Adams.
G'night (or good morning, since it's 230 AM here ;p) all.
