So who are you, and where are you from?

I live down under, in Victoria, near Melbourne somewhere.

So, how about you?

BOB

I'm on the other side of the world - Old South Wales in the UK, land of sheep, rain and male voice choirs (so they tell me - round here it seems to be mostly just the rain ).

Actually that's one of the nice things about hootoo; I've got friends from all over the world on here - Europe, Stateside, the Antipodes.

Do you do anything interesting for a living? I'm on sabbatical myself (ie temporarily [I hope] unemployed.)

Life is like a Grapefruit.

I am almost as good as unemployed. I am in Year 9, so I only have a couple of periods a week where I actually do any work. Since the school started making it compulsory to have a laptop from Year 9 onwards and they installed wireless in the school, I spend most of my time at school on here. It is quite fun.

Not quite sure what year 9 is in proper English . Long time since I was at school. A good number of years BPC (Before Personal Computers) anyhoodle. What are you studying? Anything interesting?

Year 9? That's Form 3, I think. I am not studying anything I choose, they just give me a list of subjects and I have to go to them, wether I want to or, not.
