Hi Noggin,
The purpose of me being on here is to find out new and interesting things. Share what little knowledge I have and help create new insights for myself and hopefully others.
Oh and mostly to delay for as long as possible doing the housework and when there's no housework or anything really useful to do, avoiding TV.

I can't argue with that blicky, especially in regard to housework 
My question about the purpose of such questions wasn't intended as any sort of putdown - it was an honest question intended to make people stop and think (not that *you* don't, of course, but *some* people prefer received wisdom to thinking things through.) Heck, I'm a philosopher - questions like those are my passion.

Aaahhh...
Seems to be pretty common, though, for various reasons. I've got a defunct page myself at U196230 but I don't have a login for it anymore, and a spare page courtesy of SSO, though it's not been used. No enemies, of course.
