Why me?
Difficult one. And of course I can only speak for what I know, which isn't all the conversations you're on.
My impression is (fair or otherwise) that you tend to shoot first and ask questions afterwards, which I gather has miffed one or two fellow researchers. Doesn't bother me though; you seem as ready to compliment what you agree with as to denigrate what you don't agree with.
Still, maybe a tad more diplomacy here and there might smooth the troubled waters a bit; and if somebody's feathers do get ruffled an apology usually helps. 
Good netiquette takes a little effort, but it's worth it. Most rows are 90% misunderstanding.
I hope you stick around, anyways; and my door is always open if you need advice or whatnot.
