h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Thanks for asking about stitches the other day, sorry I didn't have time to reply at the time. She's currently living up to her nickname as she had a small operation a couple of days before Christmas and her consultant wants to do another big operation in a couple of weeks time but apart from that she's doing well. The current love of her life is a pony called Noodles the owner of whom is going abroad for a while and has asked if we would like ownership while she's away. So stitches is desperately trying to work out how many things she can give up so that we can afford it. The trouble is all the coal mines around here have shut so we can't send her to work in one...

The clothing biz is beginning to come together. We have just started on the construction of a website, and most of the materials are to hand. Our main lack is a reliable sewer. But we'll find someone soon.

A reliable sewer? Oh dear, that sounds a bit grim! I'll be interested to see the web site when you get it going (for my wife clothes shopping is the nearest thing she has to a religion).

We've just found out that the same day stitches goes into hospital for her op, her granny is going into a different hospital for major surgery too - we always thought that going back to just having one car would be a problem!!
