Henge cred!
Funny, a friend of mine (the one who introduced me to h2g2 in fact), thought my last choice of handle referred to the Womble song too. It didn't, I'm far too old for that. "Re-mem-mem, re-member-member" were the opening words of "Remember Then", a song which came by twice, once in my early teens by "The Earls" and once much later and more successfully by Showaddywaddy. Those were the days...
Wombles?

It's the Earls song that I re-member-member and I am soooo happy that you have changed your name so that I won't have that annoying ear-worm anymore (well, except for right now )

Is this proof positive that Member is not a reincarnation of Hoo?
Member is a fifty-something who has never heard of the Wombles, whereas Hoo was a thirty-something like me, who probably wishes he hadn't heard the musical foray of the Wombles, but can remember them only too well! (Whereas, I hadn't realised that the Showaddywaddy song was a cover.)
My apologies, Member, I amongst many(?) others here, detected so many similarities with Hoo's style that I guess we kind of assumed that your quite welcome anitpathy for Justin was just a continuation of an earlier attempt under a different name.
Please forgive us
Madent

hi Madent,
Don't even go there, okay?
Member wants us to believe he isn't Hoo, so okey-dokey. I don't really care any more. Though I did start a thread to him about this awhile ago. He maintains he is not Hoo. So okay fine.
Doesn't mean I believe him though.

Thanks Madent,
To be honest, I've given up arguing. Everyone else thinks I'm someone else? Whatever. At least they don't think I'm an alter-ego of Justin, or another of Della's "sisters" or anything. That I'd have a problem with.

I've actually ended up with the ear-worm of the the background singers - the ones going 'uh huh, da de la dah dah dah' - thank you so very much for that!

hi Member, Madent, blicky and everyone else,
This is strange. I have a link on my personal page to some photo albums, mostly to do with cats, horses and seville. Today Justin showed up on the horse one (feria de jerez) and picking a photo of myself he left the comment 'I see'.
Now, do you think he is trying to threaten me somehow? This was posted today so it is obvious that Justin is still lurking on hootoo. Do you think he is picking on me because I am female? What do you think was the point of him leaving a message on my photo album page?

I shouldn't worry about it, az. After all, he knows what you look like, what your h2g2 handle is, and that you live in Spain.
You, on the other hand, know what he looks like, and know that he lives with his wife Nicole at 3, Forestry Cottages, Brewham, Bruton in Somerset, postcode BA10 0JR.
Now, why would you feel threatened by someone when you know so much more about them than they know about you?

hi Member,
Thanks for that. I guess the point was that I felt this guy was trying to either threaten or intimidate me and my response was to immediately tell everyone here on h2g2 - on various threads - that this had happened.
I didn't actually feel threatened but it did give me the creeps. It also shows that Justin is still lurking here on h2g2.
But thanks for the extra personal info. I have passed it on to a friend of mine here and he knows all about Justin from reading some h2g2 threads.
It's good having friends, innit?

Oh, Member! That was very naughty of you. And you know that Justin cannot edit your comment don't you? Neither can he download any of the photos - thank gawd!
Thanks.

It appears that Justin has yikes'd your posting with his address on it on the New Radicalism thread.

ps (again)
Another message from Justin on Fotki sounding a bit upset. It seems he doesn't like having his personal life invaded. Perhaps he should have thought of that before he invaded mine?
