*is lurking*
All religion DOES have the same origin Justin. Your God's name was originally Yahweh. As was Allah, and other basic religions. There was only one story in the beginning, and I would seriously begin to worry about you if you deny basic historical facts such as that. It has been *proven* that man manipulated the power of religion to supress and hold control, and that's historically correct too. If you deny basic historical facts, then...well, what the heck is wrong with you?

Mark,
Jesus said, "I am THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life, NO MAN comes to the Father but by ME."
I do not hate, or confront, any more than Jesus or the apostles did.
The views of Almighty God are absolutely correct, and all else are lies.
You are partly right, that there is salvation for all WHO COME TO CHRIST AND REPENT OF THEIR SIN.
I don't dodge any sensible question. It is hardly your place, as an enemy of God, to teach God's servant, who knows God when you do not, what is right before Him and what is not.
There is NO valid religion outside Jesus Christ Himself. There is no deliverance from sin in any other name.
"Neither is there any other name given under Heaven by which we must be saved."
All followers of anything else will be lost. There is NO hope outside of Christ. Come Judgement Day you will find out how 'tolerant' God is of sin and wickedness. Make sure you are in Christ, free from sin thereby, and right with God. You have no hope otherwise.

What about the mistranslations and the dodgy rewrites, were they authored by God? The Zoroastian Faith - was that God too, or how about the Canaanites, were they actually worshiping YAWH, Jehova, Jehosephat, etc etc?

One God - One Man hearing voices in his head. Great imagination, I'll give him that...

Jose,
I don't know of any.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
God began drawing out a people for Himself with Abraham, then the Jews, and now the Christians. He did not begin any other religion. All other religion, comes from the only other source.

>I am the Way<
Says who? A book?
>The views of the Almighty God are absolutely correct<
Says who? A book?
>It is hardly your place<
You are not superior to anyone Justin, and everyone has the right to a carefully thought out opinion. I'm beginning to think that you believe that as God's servant you ARE God himself...
>There is no valid religion outside Jesus Christ himself<
Says who? A book? Who cares. Jesus himself abhorred religion and the hypocritical priests who excluded people who were below them. If it was right, then more than likely jesus would hate you. Caught in your own web Justin.
>all followers of anything else will be lost<
Says who? A book? Who cares. You can't prove it.You have a belief, not knowledge.
>come Judgement day<
Well I hope it hurries up. We've been waiting 2000 odd years for it. People have died waiting for this mythical day. Empty promises...

>he did not begin any other religion<
That's because he cannot exist in any other religion. Your God is the fundamentalist Christian God. One that is full of judgement, hate and spite. That can only exist in your world Justin, because only your mind needs that to bow down to.
Excuse the imposition,
Potholer Posted Nov 26, 2002
*replacing my removed post with something less inflammatory*
Whether he needs to bow down (or suck up) to anything or not, I feel he loves being a position to look down on others. If it was a case of 99% saved, 1% unsaved, I doubt he'd feel as smug or as happy.
I bet he gets a real kick out of thinking only he and a select few like-minded will acheive heaven while other people (even lesser sinners) less favoured by God are cast into eternal flames. Maybe it's a middle-aged replacement for the kick he used to get out of his own particular sins of old.
Let it be a lesson to everyone else - stay away from moral corruptness, else you may end up turning into someone like Justin in an attempt to wash your hands of your of your sins.
Excuse the imposition,
Saturnine Posted Nov 26, 2002
In other words, he thinks he is God...sounds more like Satanism...just with added Bible quotes, pretension and ignorance.
How interesting.

Justin have you heard of the golden rule? Have you ever considered following it?
Excuse the imposition,
Researcher 195767 Posted Nov 26, 2002
Saturnine,
Well, I never said or meant any such thing, but if it pleases you and your master to say so I suppose it would be mean of me to spoil your fun, you won't have any after you die, if you die in the state you are in.

Hello Pencil Queen,
There are several, which did you have in mind?
Excuse the imposition,
superdogmonkey Posted Nov 26, 2002
Justin , maybe you could give me some pointers?
1) I don't belive in YOUR god = I am an evil monkey!
2) Myra Hindley found god and repented = she is now in heaven and having a wonderful time!
Which is it?
Excuse the imposition,
Researcher 195767 Posted Nov 26, 2002
Super,
Firstly, whether you believe in Almighty God or not has no bearing on His existence.
"All Heaven declares the glory of the risen Lord."
Secondly, my understanding was that Myra Hindley (sp?) was a Catholic, so I could not comment.

"Secondly, my understanding was that Myra Hindley (sp?) was a Catholic, so I could not comment."
I guess there's no *need* to comment further, given you are apparently of the opinion that even the Catholics who think they're praying to God are as unsaved as I am, or possibly more so.
"You could say that some in some religions are praying to the same God, i.e. the Catholics, but they do not know Him any more than you do."
"You will find some real Christians in most churches, with the exception of the RC/Orthodox religion, the Mormons, JW's, 'Christian' Scientists, etc."
"The Roman Catholic religion is not, and never has been 'Christian'. It is a Babylonian religion dressed in the words and names of Christianity. It is of another spirit, and its doctrines are absolutely contrary to the revealed truth of God. Certainly they use the same words, and names, and the odd doctrine is the same, but what they MEAN by the same words and names is completely different."
Excuse the imposition,
Saturnine Posted Nov 27, 2002
1) I have no master. Satan is my buddy, but not my master.
2) Nothing spoils my fun more than these sidesteppings that you partake in Justin...
3) Sorry, eh? Since when did you know me to decide what "state I am in"?

So which denomination are you Justin?
Excuse the imposition,
Saturnine Posted Nov 27, 2002
Apparently, Justin has unsubscribed from several conversations. Not sure whether that includes this one...just thought I had better inform.
I don't think he *has* a denomination...methinks he has probably been denounced by the obilgatory *holy men* too many times, so would naturally consider himself to be above a denomination.
