No i've been feeling like cr*p...
Non-stop coughing for the past 2 weeks, which led to frequent conversations with "god, on the great white telephone", and just recently to me totoally losing my voice

Nasty . One thing I can't stand is a persistant cough. Worse if you've lost your voice as well...
I've got to get some sleep in , I hope you're feeling a bit better in the morning

How are you? Fallen into any great big graviational well type sluury pit hole like things recently?
I've done *nothing* outdoorsy for months now. Planning on going to Benbecula early next year though- do some wilderness wandering

Well, talking about slurry a sewerage pipe burst on campus, the stuff's gushing out the ground and causing all sorts of trouble.
I'm not doing quite as much walking at the moment as I've got achilles tendonitis, or in words I understand, my foot hurts.
I'm still going on Sunday's walk round Sherwood forrest in fancy dress though.
Bendbecuar? Where's that?

Benbecula- It's the middle part of the western Isles or The hebrides. In between South Uist and Lewis/Harris
Been either side of it. Thinking about whether to take ferries/car etc, or to fly....
So will you be dressed as a tree or a Robin?and more to the point..er.. why?

Oh, not too far from Skye then.
I'll just go as one of the merry men, nice and simple. As for why, well, the walk runs every year. It confuses the too tourists who end up thinking there's some event going on. In other words their's no particular reason, we're just doing it anyway.

Me too , early start tomorrow.
Sod's law I guess. I find it happens frequently. That's where finding lots of people in different time zones helps.

I normally have lectures all day, but as it's near the end of term there's no lab sesion. A film sounds like a good idea, but after a long and eventful walk, I may just have to take an early night.
Enjoy your day off.

OOh, a long and eventful walk- that sounds interesting. Tell me all, or put it in your journal and share it with the rest of the class.

Laura Posted Dec 1, 2003
I'll put it in my journal, but I'm waiting for the photos first. With 40 people on the same walk, half dressed up, there was far more play than walking.

Excellent! Se you managed to dodge the camera for most of the photos though!
Times like this i wish i had broadband and a fast computer
Any more walks planned?
Your name sujects you're not feeling well...
Laura Posted Dec 7, 2003
Well, there aren't all that many photos up and there were about 50 of us altogether.
I've got broadband, but it's split between 5 computers, so can be a little slow at times.
Next walk's not until after the exams. Going to Kinder Scout on the 25th January.
