I fear you have an inherent lack of understanding of meaning as opposed to words. You take meaning from sentences that no one else I have encountered would take. May I suggest you talk to your significant other as to what people might mean when they talk/write to you. Even your nickname *Captain Obvious* would indicate that you see what is obvious but not what is meant. All of this is of course my opinion and not necessarily the facts, so deal with it as you may.
