Apparently we are not supposed to be posting anything via the new site/ skin. I can see why- hardly any of the pages will load anyway. But, unfortunately, any time I visit h2g2 starting this morning, whether via bookmark or search engine link, I am redirected to the new site layout with no option to visit the old one. So until all of the bugs and Page Not Found errors, etc, are sorted, I will have to not post as little as possible anything at all. So I guess I will be lurking for a while.

try this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2 - that should go to the old site.

Thanks, Mala! I see that the difference is the "dna" in the URL, which helps. Not that I need to post every day, but I didn't want to inadvertently "break" anything if I did.

I haven't changed my bookmark yet. I did wonder that quite some people say they arrived on h2g2 via the new FP because the redirect isn't implemented yet. They must all have changed their bookmarks.

I just assumed everyone had been redirected but me. I haven't yet been taken to the new site without deliberately following a link given to me by someone else.
I've gone from feeling left out to feeling lucky, frankly.

Bel, the same url without the dna used to take you to the old FP as well, so maybe some people had bookmarked that...
