Judgement Night doesn't ring a bell. I'd better have a look...

I don't have MSN, but I'll get on it.
Judgement Night isn't very good really. The sound track is a rap/rock crossover odyssey though. Biohazard vs Onyx is particularly, well, I won't say good. It is particularly something.

It sounds awful.
Re: MSN... I'm not on often but would arrange to get on at the same time. Would have to be on a weekend.
I thought that Pando hosted files for 10 days. Oh, and I stopped the "Rabbit's Moon" mid-upload because the power supply fan on my PC was rattling again and it shuts down sometimes when that happens. I can re-compress that to a really small file and try Pando one more time, too. Let me check when I get home and see how long you'd have to dowload...

Don't worry about it. I've got quite a bit to work with for the time being. Got a gig on boxing day so I might try some out then. Snotty resident VJs notwithstanding.
Where do you get your movies? Was it called netflix? I'm back in the budgetry regions of having an account now so I might start renting again. The local store just dont cut it.
Do you have boxing day in America?

Skype is much more reliable and usually faster for file transfer.
has skyped me huge files with piccies with no probs. Even transferring stuff to behind the bamboo curtain where princess currently resides has been smoothly done.

I tried Skype for a while but I could never get it to work with my headset, so I uninstalled it. I'll consider adding it again should I need to transfer some files quickly. Thanks for the recommendation, dragonqueen!
a_a_e, I'll just send you the DVDs when I can.

Oh, and no- we have no Boxing Day here. It appears on some calendars here, though, because they do observe in Canada. When I was a little kid, I thought it meant boxing like in the Tyson sense.

boxing day is when the churches would traditionally opent their poor boxes and give the contents to the needy.

That's just like them to have such weird timing. I mean you're needy, it's Christmas and you don't get anything until the day after. That sucks.

ATTENTION NO BOXING ALLOWED!
Teehee
I too thought boxing day had something to do with all the stress of the Holidays maybe it helped adults to watch a boxing match.
Arm yourself with mistletoe everybody!

Tickets are got, and we're on. And the Old Town School of Folk Music is right down the street from a fabulous Indian restaurant, so we'll have dinner there first. Yay!
I'd heard two versions of what Boxing Day meant- either boxing up leftovers for the needy, or boxing up the tree and trimmings. Obviously I prefer the former.

Yeah, I'm no help there. Not really that into hip-hop, so I'm sure my frame of reference is too narrow. Being a HUGE fan of one band (Public Enemy) and having had a passing interest in NWA and KRS-One hardly qualifies me for a debate on the artistic merits of hip-hop. Though I do think it has a lot- esepcially the more political stuff.

Well it's gone Public Enemy now. Sorta.
KRS-1
I have some mp3s by a someone called Edit. Some of NWA songs with all the words that aren't swears taken out. Thats right, just swears, in a kind of glitchy arythmic crump style. You listen to it once and WOW! and then never lisen to it again.

I see someone mentioned Anthrax's Bring The Noise. Gosh, I haven't heard that one in YEARS. When I was doing my radio internship in the late '80s, one of my fellow jocks was a good friend of theirs. Funny, funny guys.

You know I'm going to have to dig that out when I get home.
Meanwhile, I had a thought as to something that might do for an Xmas gift for K. While we're at the school for the Chilton show, I may pop into their music store and select a nifty traditional percussion instrument.
(Considering my other ideas were a backlit gaming keyboard and an X-Box 360, I think that might be cooler, if less practical)

That sounds really cool. What kind of drum? I sampled some sweet wood block type sounds out of Kagemusha a few years ago. Soph is an xmas nut. She keeps trying to give me my present early.
PC, if K likes gaming and you want to get him something sometime I'd be happy to make a bartop arcade machine. Shouldn't be *too hard to post. Would cost a bit, about £200. I would accept payment on delivery.
Just an idea though.
