I'm doing all right. My house is trashed because of all this moving stuff- boxes of stuff against my dining room wall, kitchen table buried under stacks of dishes and dry goods, clearing off some shelves in bookcases and cabinets, etc.- and it's got me a bit edgy. But I'm okay.

I have a job interview Monday afternoon with a company called the Field Trip Factory. I sure hope they pay close to what I'm getting here.

I'm OK, albeit a bit sad about this whole horrible thing. I'm glad you're OK!

Things have been OK with me, haven't started a new job yet but remain hopeful that this one will pan out and soon. Boyfriend and have settled in nicely and everything else is going really well.

WIth me, i still have dark days but my psychiatrist thinks weve got the right meds now
You have a cat?

My boyfriend has a cat, he's four years old. (The cat, not my boyfriend. I live in Illinois, not West Virginia. ) He's got Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which means he has poor balance and hind leg coordination. His vet calls it "the wobblies". He's very sweet, affectionate, and loveable.

Glad to hear your depression isn't so bad, at least that the meds are helping. It would really suck to be feeling so dark all the time when you should be enjoying some of the best and happiest years of your life. I'd hate to see you deprived of that.

Anything planned for the weekend?

Hey kiddo, had a weird weekend last week but not very eventful. Sorry I didn't get back to sooner but had no 'net access at work and limited time from home.

This weekend, my plans consist of reading the new Harry Potter, and whatever else I have time for when the tome is done.

I find it funny that excepting those people I know who have some organic origin for their depression (bi-polar disorder or schizophrenia, for example), who have been greatly helped by their treatments, those people I've known who've sought therapy for depression (I went through a few depressed months myself back in '02-'03, but I got over myself and feeling great now!) have actually grown more depressed and frustrated because their treatments/therapy just didn't work.

Hope that something will help, soon, and glad that being off at school is helping somewhat. Sometimes all you need is a change of scenery, and things improve dramatically.

Sometimes, you just need to cut those people from your life who are miserable themselves and strive to bring you down as well. Hang in there!
