Hi!
Just a quick note to say that I've been selected to sub-edit your entry on ITV which will ultimately be found at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A803549 . If you have any queries or last minute additions, please let me know as soon as possible!
Congratulations on having your entry selected to be part of the edited guide!

Hi, Ben. I've got one change I'd like you to make. The header called 'The Revolution of 1990' should have said 1991 -- the year of the actual contract round. Also, the name of the new networking authority needs adding, but I'll have to look it up first! (I know where to look, but I haven't got it to hand right now).
Thanx,
Leg

Oh, one other thing. In The Revolution of 1968, I'd like the first mention of Rediffusion to call the company 'Rediffusion-London (as A-R were now called)'.
Thanx again.

Er, and another one. I read that the strike service was the first use of the name Independent Television, so I mentioned it in the article, but I've since found something that contradicts it. I think the statement of it should be deleted because I don't know which is correct.

Hello again.
I've found the name of ITV's network centre, and it's called, er, ITV Network Centre.
Thanks, and I promise that's the last change.

Er, since you're asking(), I've just noticed that I forgot to put in a reference for GMTV, a straightforward oversight. Surprisingly enough it's www.gmtv.co.uk .
Now I must dash before you hit me. But I assure you that is now 100%, definitly, completely it, and may God strike me down should it be otherwise.

Given that Carlton and Granada have apparently been given the green light for a merger to go ahead, I'd like to take this article taken out of sub-editing, or it'll be out of date before it gets into the edited guide! Do you know how I can go about doing this? Do I e-mail the editors?

I'll try and find out what's going on - the editors were going to take it back in-house, but that doesn't seem to have happened. I'll let you know that you want to update it...

Hi Ben. I'm increasingly unhapppy with my original article on ITV and I want to do a complete rewrite on it. Does H2G2 have a system where I can take it back to re-do? I'd like to fully revise and update it. Thanks.

Hi,
I'm actually not in charge of subbing this entry anymore, since I'm currently in Thailand (I know, it's a hard life!) writing for 360, but I'll let Anna know. There shouldn't be a problem with removing this from the queue, so long as it hasn't been done already!
