It Lives!!!!

The old Amiga was hoisted out of the shed for one last go a couple of weeks ago. This was extremely lucky because it died after a weeks worth of mucking about (we'll it would have lasted forever had I not run it up). Stuck with a dead SCSI channel, dead screen and broken joystick it came to getting a disk image off onto a UNIX box and then onto a PC. A massive amount of finagleling later got the Amiga up and running on the Mac.

Why the possible waste the time? What is remembered to be clever programming in the past needed revistiting so as to convert to a new langauge on the Mac. It also questioned what language would be required as I haven't been keeping up with the times and the days of talking directly to hardware don't appear to be supported as seemlessly as before.

Anyway, now that it's been secured, it's time to try some JAVA...
