How is the missus? .
And of course my visit wouldn't be comlete without me asking for help .
Is it possible for me, being a digibox user, to creat links to any conversation forum...or is a PC needed? (cause the forum number is need ain't it?).
If I can't fo it...I was woder if you have some spare time could you nip around to my page and do a few .
I have yet to start the forums mind...need to sort that out .
Anyways...thank you

Hi Sian
I am doing well
did you enjoy your birthday on saturday, and don't tell me you only had
The code for the link is <LINK H2G2="F88411?thread=301299&latest=1"> Your Text
but (like you said) you need a PC to get the conversation number, if you tell me which conversation you want to link to ( when you have started it ) I will get it for you

Me again .
Anoher question.
Is it possible for a PC user to highlight any piece of writing on h2g2? Like the writing in a guide entry? then copy it and be able to paste into a new guide entry?
Basically I'm doing a guide entry on Essex and the memory of my digibox wont allow me anymore space to write more. If I update that entry now some of the writing (which took ages to do) will be lost . I was wondering if that could be copied and pasted into a new guide entry so I can continue my writing there
Thanks

You mean like THIS >> A1131256
I have coyed all of it and put it in a Guide Entry on my page,
I can keep it there till you need it, or if you send me your login details ( by e-mail ) I will put it in a Guide Entry on your page by the way, that looks very good
now you can clear that one and start again as I have that safe for you

always one step ahead
Yep, like that.
I think that for my digibox to have enough memory for both guide enteries. If I delete the first one then like you said you can paste it in. Thw writing that will fit in one guide entry is from the start to the writing just before the heading POPULATION AND ADMINISTRATION.
Then of course the rest in another entry.
Its very good I think...not my own words mind
I'll send my log in details now do it in your own time.
Thank you
