Hi Sian smiley - ok

did you enjoy your birthday on saturday, and don't tell me you only had smiley - ojsmiley - winkeye

The code for the link is <LINK H2G2="F88411?thread=301299&amp;latest=1"> Your Text

but (like you said) you need a PC to get the conversation number, if you tell me which conversation you want to link to ( when you have started it ) I will get it for you smiley - ok

Me again smiley - smiley.

Anoher question.
Is it possible for a PC user to highlight any piece of writing on h2g2? Like the writing in a guide entry? then copy it and be able to paste into a new guide entry?

Basically I'm doing a guide entry on Essex and the memory of my digibox wont allow me anymore space to write more. If I update that entry now some of the writing (which took ages to do) will be lost smiley - grr. I was wondering if that could be copied and pasted into a new guide entry so I can continue my writing there smiley - biggrin

Thanks smiley - cheers

You mean like THIS >> A1131256

I have coyed all of it and put it in a Guide Entry on my page,
I can keep it there till you need it, or if you send me your login details ( by e-mail ) I will put it in a Guide Entry on your page smiley - okby the way, that looks very good smiley - biggrin

now you can clear that one and start again as I have that safe for you smiley - ok

always one step ahead smiley - cheers
Yep, like that.

I think that for my digibox to have enough memory for both guide enteries. If I delete the first one then like you said you can paste it in. Thw writing that will fit in one guide entry is from the start to the writing just before the heading POPULATION AND ADMINISTRATION.
Then of course the rest in another entry. smiley - smiley

Its very good I think...not my own words mind smiley - laughsmiley - biggrin

I'll send my log in details now smiley - ok do it in your own time.

Thank you smiley - cheers
