Time out in Africa coming to an end

Just forwarded the mountaineering artwork to you for a looksee - hopefully the next will follow.
I *am* correct that you wanted the series called 'Seek and Ye Shall Find' - or something else?

Seek and Ye shall Find is the search engine one...
I thought of "adventures of a mediocre mountaineer" for the climbing one...
Will have a look on email now.

Hi Shazz - I see you've started seek and ye shall find with hair - good choice, I think it's the strongest of the three so far. I just wondered if you wanted to add the intro para from blue to it, to explain a bit the idea for the series? I've pasted it below.

The Hootoo archives contain many weird and wonderful bits of writing, which don't always get the attention they deserve. Unless they enter the Edited Guide, or are unearthed by the Underguide, the Post or CAC, they may lie unread and unloved for years, while their authors go out for a sandwich or even permanently Elvis. The best way to find these gems is undoubtedly through the search engine, having ticked the box marked no Edited entries. The infinite improbability engine and searching conversations provides too much dross: searching unedited guide entries is the way to go.

A good idea
I will add this and put in links where appropriate also
Now we just have to pray that the artwork uploads better than the last few weeks worth.

Amen. And that the search engine remains in working order after my exhortations to use it!

Hi Shazz
There will be a temporary hiatus in my articles for the next month. I'm getting married, and will be largely away from the computer.
When I come back, I reckon there is at least one mountaineering story still to come, maybe two but probably not more.
On the seek and ye shall find stuff, I'm a bit concerned that it has got very similar to the CAC pages, which are also now using the search engine quite a bit. I'll see if I can find a way of making it more original.
Alternatively, I might be struck by a brilliant idea for something new while I'm away!

Congrats and the best of luck with the wedding. I feel as if I was there when you proposed!
No problems about the columns. Just come back when you can.
I still think that your 'Seek' articles are different enough not to clash with CAC but if you feel that you are treading on their toes then fair enough.

Wedding over - it was great!
Buying a house now... But enough excuses - I have managed one mountaineering piece A3098685 Alpine Anomie. It's a bit strange - but then so was that summer.

I will save the poem for next week methinks as the fiction section is nicely even this week. It will be a small, compact edition.
Headache a little better now . I reckon its a touch of sinusitus after I had a bad cold last week (and I know I didn't sniff!
)
Things always seem worse when you haven't set foot outside for over a week, let alone had a
