I spoke to her the other day. She`s fine. Things between her and her man have been getting a bit complicated but i think they are sorting them out. When i speak to her again i`ll pass on your kind words.
You`re so nice

Thought as much, poor them I hope they work things through
Must be something in the planets, seems to be a testing time for everyone one way or another, reminds herself to check out Cainer.
How you doing then Boss? You coming down at the weekend or is it abit of a trek?

Still up for abit of social chitchat but here's a work memo as well Langley and I are up for Petauks case and as you are on the scene we are relying on you to do some practical investigating. So nip round to his with your magnifying glass make sure that there isn't any obvious pracitcal answers to the bumps and bangs etc (like dodgey picture hooks) before we launch into a paranormal investigation

Not gonna make it to this meet. Got no time and more importantly no cash. I`ll get down to one eventually. I take it you`re going then?
So we`re taking on Peta`s case then. I`ve stayed over at his a few times and never experienced anything out of the ordinary. Suppose i wasn`t looking for it though. Will have to go with my investigating head on and give it a proper look see. Maybe stay up all night and see what happens.

I've told Peta that you'll be expecting him to get the in Maybe you can come to the next meet down here, I'll try and get to one nearer you and if I get to Scotland and are a must .
I should get packing for this one. What a week, trying to pack six days into three a half, and trying to pack, well catch up on the washing and then pack, way too busy for me but I get to leave it all behind on the M5 somewhere and pick it all up on the way back, not the washing obviously, just the other baggage . My metro lives to see another day, just scraped its MOT but cylinder 3 is still giving me grief. Its a calculated risk and its this car or no car (buying another one is not an option) and I'm rather fond of this one . We have to treat it kindly.
What you busy with?

Well i start a new job on monday so i intend to have a blast of a weekend.
I`m off to see Spiderman again tomorrow night and on Saturday i`m helping a friend move house. Once all the hard work is done we`re gonna hit the town. There`s a few of us going so it should be a good laugh.
It sounds like this meet on Sat is gonna be a good one. I`m sure your Metro won`t let you down. I`m a non driver myself. Just never got around to taking lessons. Couldn`t afford a car anyway so that works out nicely.
So Peta`s to get the s in then. That`ll be a first. Mainly because he doesn`t drink. Poor lad!

Hey Good Luck and all with the new job, what's it like? The metro made it, it was looking a bit dodgey though, didn't like the hills that much and the petrol gauge is shonky, 'kind of working' I think is the worst sort of working. I hate driving but like going places so it evens out. It was well worth the trek though.
Tried the apple sours and liked them, taste like hubba bubba atomic apple. Not many other peeps like them so that left plenty for the few of us that did lol. We've been batting around some ideas for future meets, we were wondering if the Scotish group would like to organise a minibus or something. I'm going to ask around for the use of a field and we were thinking maybe of having our own mini fest next summer. Everyone bring a stone to make a stone circle...
What do you reckon? Peanut xx

That sounds like a good idea. As long as it`s not a camping thing. I hate camping. The stone idea is cool. Everyone should paint their stone to represent themselves and where they come from. When it`s all over, each person takes a different stone home. Maybe?
New job went ok. Sat a pc all day and did some training. There seems to be some internal conflicts i n the place so i think i`m just going to keep my head out of the firing line.
Apple sours are fab. They go down too easy though. There`s a pineapple one as well. I haven`t tried that yet but i will.

Like the idea of painting a stone, we could use them as paperweights in the office I see you've been aced as well, you're on the up! Hmm 'fraid it will be camping, I didn't have you down as a non-camper somehow. How many apple sours does it take for you to warm to the idea of kipping in a tent?
Good idea to keep your head down if there are internal politics at work. Glad our office isn't like that, we all seem to get on rather well together and probably spend too much time talking to each other rather than our clients or potential clients
Chris Hawke has some pics of the meet, remember him from the Riley conversation. Meant to nip back to that and say that it had been one of those life changing discusssions, I have been much nicer to blokes, made abit of an effort and its paid off, so I think maybe my life is abit more balanced. But probably only more balanced in that one direction, everything else seems to be slightly out of kilter lol

It would probably take at least a full bottle of sours to get me even thinking about camping. The other problem is that i don`t own a single piece of camping gear.
I`m hoping that the atmosphere at work changes. I`m the kind of person who likes to make up my own mind about people and i don`t think that`s going to go down well. I`ll be keeping my opinions to myself anyway.
I`ll have to try and access those pics from the meet at some point. It`s usually not possible for me because i`m via a digi-box but i`ll attempt it anyway. What did you all get up to anyway?

I managed to aquire a useful coffee making gadget from Ass. I'm not going to accept a lack of camping gear as an excuse for non-attendance, either we'll find space for ya somewhere or you had better get collecting
I hope you manage to access the pics,I think that there are ones of Ass, Sus and Tinks doing sychronised swimming, inbetween bellowing at the rest of us c'mon in its lovely, lol, lovely once you have lost all sense of feeling and no longer notice the cold....
I hate atmospheres, peeps are never too sure how to take independant peeps, they will get over it when they have got used to you . This new job is it part of a career plan or a means to a financial end?

Detective Armani Posted Jun 26, 2002
It`s a means to an end at the moment. If i take to it i may try to work my way up. Apparantly they are screaming for people.
I quite fancy going to night college at some point and getting qualified in some IT line of work. I`ll have to wait until i get back on my feet though.
I`ve made a start on the camping stuff i.e. i have a flimsy sleeping bag that i forgot about and a torch. Think i`ll get by on that?
No Subject
Peanut Posted Jun 27, 2002
Its a start lol but if nothing else buy a decent sleeping bag and use the flimsy one as a ground layer.
You been off your feet then DA? Ass and my mate Helley propped me up yesterday, I've been brewing a crisis for a while. I'm just to stretched in every direction and at the same time don't feel like I'm travelling in a particular direction. I have serious doubts about managing the OU, arggghhh don't know what to do, got meself into a state about it but felt better about it this morning. We have cobbled together vague plans that doesn't involve lapdancing, largly because I can't dance
Night school is cool . Did you tell them that you already have management experience and that you run your own office?
