Yeh, a pretty good time, despite the fact that someone couldn't make it
and thanks for gettin me back to the hotel think the guy at the desk was a little peeved off I was chekcing in so late, as he semed to want to go home, and couldn't manage to get my credit car dto work I paid in cash in the end, it worked out easier, I sware he wasn't putting the number thorugh properly and its not like they didn't know I would be arriving that late; I put a note on my booking say I'd be cheking in after middnight

Morning nearly time for my supper!

nearly time for me to go back to bed!
had a dreadful 12hrs in hell yesterday, an I have to go back tonight

hope it goes as well as it can then my friend who works in teh bakery back home will probably be waking up soon for breckfast/lunch/dinner before he goes in a bit later on nearer middnight

I am doing 8pm -8 am this week end, finish at 8 am munday, then don't go back till 8am flyday 4 whole days off to recover only about 2 1/2 weeks to go

Well you'l hopefully be able to get some rest in those four days off recover all the ready to retune your body clock when you have to go back after that At leat my friend doesn't do 12 hour shifts, my Dad did for years at different places, including QC on sugar production Think Shaun goes in at about middnight, though he leaves about half an hour or so before to get in, and finished at about 9 or something

we do 12hr shifts over the weekend, but I had to do a 12 yesterday because the other stupit operator didn't come in, was a bad shift too,was maintenance day, so did a complete shut down,lots of running then sarted up again 2 hours later, more running, then stopped, you guessed it, more running, got going again, which, funnily enough, involved more running, then we had a sudden blackout, alot of running an swearing ensued, it stuffed up my stage, got going, went bang again, much running an swearing again, went down for 3 hours, got going, an my stage decided to go completely kaplooy, so we went down again, got the prob sorted, got going, relief finnlay arrived just as I got things settled down an running nice I think in 12 hrs we crushed for a total of 2 hours.......

sounds like a nightmare! better luck with the next shift i hope

usually things aren't THAT bad, comes close at times but yesterday was that 1 shift that makes you appreciate the long boring nothing happens shift

Have had 3 yesterdays this season

time for more before going to get more ==~

Where woudl we be without coffee? Don't think I could manage a single day wihtou coffee for the next shift, its bound* to go smoothly

I'm trying to cut down (again) a bit on the ~== at the moment, been having far too many.... *looks in the packet in his shirt pocket its not going well though mind have got back in the habbit of making pots of fresh coffee again at the moent, using my coffeee grinder again on the French coffee beans
