2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Nov 4, 2004
I was thinking of going out to the swish French resturant up round the corner near the real ale pub, both of which I like my lodger would be bakc in time, and I might be able to persuede Ian and his other half to go... but that does tend to get a bit pricey... Think we went there on my last birthday... oh no we went to the Kingston instead that time.... the French place 'Bruno's bassary' or however its spelt worked out about two hundred quid last time we went, by teh time wine is included and I but we could have another party on here, with more 'pass the baloon'

Don't you know a friend who knows to do it ? When I go to my sister, I sometimes go to her friend who's really good at cutting hair, and it's cheap. My friend here is good at dying other people's hair, but I usually do this myself.
Btw, good morning

I don't know about England, but here, a woman pays more for a haircut than a man has to pay - for the same work , and the latest development is, that they don't cut your hair without washing it first, which adds to the costs, whereas a man does not need to have his hair washed, they just cut the dry hair. I've always hated somebody else to wash my hair, so I had to search for a hairdresser who doesn't insist on washing it, if you ask me,it's a fraud that you have to let them wash your hair, it should be forbidden by law. Just imagine, I'd tell a customer, he could only buy some milk, if he bought a bread, too - he'd complain and not buy anything, and he'd be right in doing so.

Not having been to a hairdresors myself in over a decade I was I believe getting something out of kilter with what the going prices were.... I was absolutely astonished when my lodger said to have his hair cut in Cambridge cost nearly £15! last time I had mine done I think it was less than a fiver I cut my own now Oi! that is enough of those descenting voices at the back shouting 'you cut your own hair, we can tell' food, need food, bakery again
