Sorry to hear you think wasps are spiteful, whilst I am sure you hurt at at the moment, can I be a pain and remind you that wasps were also created by the Goddess?
They have a use, just like we do. Although what use humans have beyond spreading like a parasite over the planet and ruining it for every other living creature, I do not know?!
Maybe I should come back when you are not hurting so much. Manuka cream is meant to be great for soothing stings, even honey can be nice, maybe ice-cream is worth a go as well. You certainly deserve an ice cream when you have been stung, if you were in Harry Potter, you would have loads of to make it better!

I mean spiteful as in I was minding my own business and not doing it any harm at all..so it had no reason to give me a great big painful sting thats now swelling up half my arm..i don't even swat them when they come in the house or anything..just try to get them to go back outside..i try not to harm anything..as its got just as much right to be there as i have..but of course im a bit pi**ed at the mo as it couldve returned the favour n not gone for me just for the fun of it..
ooh sounds good..

try the after-sun stuff I brought yiou, maybe it might cool the arm a bit, and it has the effect to bind poisons

I find arnica or witch hazel useful. But Boots' own (Soltan, I think) after sun has a great insect repellant in it.
Kaz, are indeed equal to humans in the grand scheme of things, but they can still be annoying little ers

I meant wasps, not space (which is cool in any case!)
You're not allergic to stings or anything then?

Serephina Posted Jul 19, 2004
I was meaning the wasps too
I seem to be a little..hence the swelling n whatnot..it calmed down quite well after some anti histamines though..jut really sore now..

That's exactly the problem - the wasps can sting you as often as they choose, which is why they're so aggressive, a bee only stings when in danger, because it has to die once it stung

Yup..only bees leave their stinger in..n wuill only stiing when necessary..wasps seem to do it purely for fun

They fly in the window at work, seem to get really aggravated by the heat and noise in our office and go nuts
