Hi Carol,
my daughter's name is Jodie and she is LOCK_N_LOAD (Ian)'s girlfriend. We are all from LD.
Welcome to h2g2. Ian got jodie to ask me to offer you help, and that's what I'm here for. I just use a digibox too, and if you click on my name, you can go to my page and see just what can be done.
There are links on my page to make you digibox friendly and to take you to the FoLDers Arms, Luna's chat room, The LD quotes section, and to the Friends of Leisure District page.
Once you have settled in, and had a look round, we'll try and deal with any problems you have.
It is strange to begin with, but there are people who will give you all the help you need.

Carol, I see you've had a go at changing your page to guideML.
To make the change work, you have to click on the guideML spot, then click on `change style` and then update your page.
When you have done this, you will find that your text will all bunch together.
Click edit again, and to start a new line, Put at the end of the previous line.
New paragraphs are a bit more complicated, but one step at a time, that will do for now.

To find out if you have a msg. you do indeed have to leave the conversation thread then go back to it. I think the easiest way to do that is to click on `My Space` and then look at your conversation list.
