Hi Sandra, long time no see!
So life's been chucking loads at you? Snap! Things here have been hectic these past few months (although nothing to discuss in a public forum!)
How was your xmas & new year? We had a mad xmas, kiddo was hyper. (he decided to believe in santa again!)
New Year was quiet, I just went to bed! (alone!)
Things are working out well having the dog. That was the end of last summer we got him and we'd not be without him now. I feel like I've got 2 kids! He's a cutie.
I'm still not happy with my page! Obviously I got my head round guide ml and I just slapped all the details up there. But now I can't even be bothered to "fix" it to the way I really want it. I suppose I'll get round to it eventually!
Hope you're ok.

I dont like my page much either!... but i spose im too lazy to really spend the time to sort it out!!...Stilll trying to think of a guide entry to write too..lots of ideas floaating around but nothing solid!. My summer wsnt too great, id been having a long distancerelationsip with a guy i met onnline for over a year n wee madly in love..i was anyway!..and i was over the moon in may when he left his ex to come down here and be with me!..BUT the day after he got here he decided he didnt want another relationship!..i was shattered ..but let him stay as we were still supposedly real good friends ..he then (whilst living with my house)mucked me arounnd for months before finally taking up with a woman from round the corner!i was really hurt but tried to put being a mate first, n made her really welcome too . he started being a real a@@@hole tome though..n i was quite relieved wen he moved back to scotland and she moved up there after him a month later. we kept in touch but there was a huge row at xmas when he told me i was a nasty piece of work n had donne my best to try and split them!!..after all i did for him!...it all blew up new years eve ne way when i tol him id had enough and to go find another doormat! ..he screwed me up so much emotionally (and i didnt need any more of that!)that ive been seeing a counsellor since october!men eh! anyway..sorry to ran at you!!..lol glad to hear your getting n well with your my little boy would love a pet, but we dont really have the room..n god knows whart hed do to it!

Oh Sandra, that's an awful thing to have happened. He's lucky that you tried to stay friends with him in the first place! Men are pigs! I've had some bad times with blokes myself, you've got my full sympathy & support!
Kiddo's dad & me split up 5yrs ago and he STILL manages to screw my life up! He was seeing kiddo up until 5 months ago, then just stopped. He'd also stopped paying his maintenance money (although that's being sorted now)
I suppose we just have to have faith & keep our fingers crossed that there are SOME decent blokes out there!
You'll be ok. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here.
What age is your wee boy?

Serephina Posted Jan 15, 2003
Same goes for you too ..im good at listening, as well as seeing a counsellor im training to be one! and Josh is 5 1/2 ..n what a horrible age it is! end most days needing a !
Did i mention said woman from up the road is 43 and looks like a cross between Pat Butcher and the purple one outta the fraggles??? ... was a real confidence knock to think that was more attractive than me!
Helloooooo x
mozelda Posted Jan 16, 2003
He must be mad to have run off with Pat Butcher/purple fraggle type OLD thing! Let's hope they are very unhappy together! (I suppose that's bad karma wishing nasty thoughts like that, but sometimes it makes one feel better!)
My kiddo's not much older than your's. He's 6. It's all mood swings, wanting to be independant, and cheek!
He's a great kid, doing really well at school & stuff. But he sometimes is such a !! The joys of motherhood!
So do you go to college to study to be a counseller? Good choice of job, I've thought about it myself. I reckon the best counsellers are people with a bit of "life experience" It's annoying when you get folk harping on about things they've never dealt with themselves.
Helloooooo x
Serephina Posted Jan 17, 2003
ahh but sometimes its good if uyou havent dealt with something because you then dont ave feeligs to be stirred up by what the person is saying!.I go to college just the one half day a week at the mo, as im only on a starter course...but i can go to a diploma or whatever once ive passed it.All the different theories are really interesting. My own counsellor uses mainly the person centred theory which is mostly about just listening and showing lots of empathy!..she doesnt direct or advise at all..just listens andhelps you feel understood and that how you feel is valued. Sometimes just hearing yourself SAY how you reallly feel can be a big eye opener!.shes done wonders for me anyway!
As for Joshua, hes currentlyy obseesed with spiderman...the film, the playstation game, the cartoon ,the lot! its quite annoying when you want him to get dressed in the morning for school ..and he hs to pick tings up REALLY slowly with his "web" whilst calling you green goblin etc etc ..lol though at least i dont mind repeatedly watching thefilm as i have a huge crush on Tobey Maguire!..

Hi Sandra, how's you?
I'm choked with the cold, feeling yukky!
Went to see 8 Mile on fri. Have you seen it? It was really good, better than I'd expected.
Kiddo's got a karate grading coming up soon. His yellow belt this time. He's doing really well in it, his instructor is always singing his praises!
Had to laugh when I read about your boy picking things up with his "web"! My kiddo's obssessed with the Jurassic Park films so he has a habit of roaring at me! He walks about pretending to be a t-rex, drives the dog mental!
Hope you're ok.

I love horror/scary films but I'm cr*p at watching them on my own! I'm just a big chicken at heart! A few months back I decided to watch The Exorcist, I've seen it loads of times, and even though it was broad daylight I was still sitting on the couch with my arms wrapped round the dog, cringing with fright! Chicken!
With me, films are the same as music. I watch/listen to a huge variety!

Serephina Posted Jan 20, 2003
One of my favourite films is sense and sensibility!..but dont tell anyone i said that!...lol my taste in music is pretty
diverse too ..though i minly go for the rock/alternative variety..ill listen to anything that sounds good!
As for the Exorcist..i dont blame you for cringin in fright! its a bloody scary film! Its funny though cosi first sw i t totally uncut when i was about 14 (yes it was still banned then ,but my dad got me thhe pirate..lol),and i just laughed at it!..then when they re released it a few years ao..i didnt get through the credits on the bbc documentary!..i can watch any amount of gore n guts..but the psychological stuff really does me! The Shining scares me witless!...am scared of odd tings too..poession scare me..dolls..clowns...anything fairytaleish (like the judderman!!)..etc..hmmmm lol

mozelda Posted Jan 22, 2003
Oooh, The Shining! What a film! I love Jack Nicolson, he's brilliant. I don't think anyone else could have played his role in The Shining as scarily as him! He's excellent at playing madmen!
Music: I'm the same as you. Rock/alternative are the faves. (although I'd listen to anything really!) I really love going to gigs, try to get to as many as possible (money & babysitter permitting!) So far this year I've got tickets for Erasure, Bon Jovi & The Sisters of Mercy. My eyes are peeled to see who else will be playing nearby!
I'm still full of the cold. The tissue box is never far from my side & I'm guzzling lemsips!
Hope you're ok.

Meant to say... dolls & clowns? Yup!
Clowns are FREAKY!!
As for dolls, the ones with the open & shut eyes are awful. Their eyelids go clickety..clickety..click & they watch you!

You've obviously got more will power than me. I went on a "healthy eating/fitness" kick this time last year. Didn't last very long and now I'm almost 1stone heavier now than I was last january! Oops!!
