Good Day, Good Sir
Colonel Codpiece Posted Jul 31, 2003
If you would be so kind as to face me and stand very still...
That is all.
How's life working out for you?

High-calorie fare, it'll go straight to your ankles.
I'm good, doing the motivation thing. Been sneaking around on the net?
Good Day, Good Sir
kow Posted Jul 31, 2003
I think I'll be able to carry it off.
What motivation thing? Of course, been catching up over at digispy. Have you been doig a it yourself then?

Socks cover a multitude of sins.
Getting off my ass and thinking about doing something with my life. Anything interesting going on then? I've been trying to squash in as much EG reading as possible before I have to go.

In where? Sorry, was lurking!
Hey have you tried connecting your white cable lead up to the back of the telly and retuning your telly? You might get more channels.

Colonel Codpiece Posted Jul 31, 2003
ghia...my mobile only works when it wants to, but give me your number and I'll visit people and commandeer their phones.
kow...sorry. Err, do you mean the main input lead? Would that work? I can't retune my telly anyway, a drunkard knocked the front panel with the tuning buttons off, and my telly was born in 85 so I can't do it by remote.

ghia: Where do you think *I* got the link to the disturbing site in the first place?
hugster: Yep, just take the adapter off the end of it, works fine and its ok to do too. How's your vcr, stick it in there.

So if I'm getting you right...I plug the main lead into the video, and I can pick up individual channels by tuning into different bands? What's the point in having the bloody box?!
Good Day, Good Sir
kow Posted Jul 31, 2003
That's right and the more bands your VCR has, the more channels you'll get. The box is just a trick.

Colonel Codpiece Posted Jul 31, 2003
Why do I get the feeling I'm going to spend hours fiddling with the tuning on my video, get back here say 'it's not working' and be greeted with 'HA! SUCKERED!'?

Yikes. Glad she's too young to really realise what nearly happened, can end up with a phobia. I know what you mean about the imagination running wild...

Colonel Codpiece Posted Jul 31, 2003
Err, sorry if I'm being weird at all, just a bit down. A little disclaimer there...
