thanks sean,im getting there slow but sure,ive changed my space a bit,(my mate tryed to guide mail and he got it all in the right order,but when he tryed the change he got(sorry you must register first)hes been on as long as me what happened any idea jim.

my mate asked me a question last night,he asked(is it possible to have a click,to get from the email.onto the h2g2 personal space,as well as going on the front page as we do now,jim.

12kb? That's pathetic! I know you can't send/receive any email over 50kb and there's a limit to the amount of text you can send too

ive put a switch on the main cable,to the plug,i just flick.off then on,and go make a cuppa till it resets,(i know the cable mob have reduced what i was able to receive,the pics i sent out,are smaller when they get to there destination,i dont think telewest want us to have a reasonable setup,but we have stuck a finger up,and with clicks, color and pics
we are making better use of emails than they say we can,jim

True, it would be better if we didn't have this firewall to contend and could really use the internet. I suppose this is better than nothing though

I've also heard rumours that the HTML function in emails will be turned off very soon

how does that afect me on cable,im not up on the tec gargon

Hi Jim

Well when you click on links and get the blue boxes, that's because of the firewall.
HTML is what you use in emails to make those links and stuff like colour and size changes.
