...I cycled (walked up hills and went down went down with scary speed) thru the South Downs, England for 4 days a summer, more than decade ago that was enough. I hiked in the Ardenes, Belgium was very out of breathe all Iwas about 15 yrd old.

btw all work and no play...you know rest

I live in the South of England, very very hilly, but also very beautiful!! Have some tales to tell about touring around Holland and Belgium, but they will have to wait ... I have to get back to work

Vampires are a bit 'dark' to have belief in though

I think you're right, best stay an h2g2 sapiens,
that way no-one will get slayed!!

Seems this site is full of ethereal creatures, but it's
daytime now, and I'm awake and not fizzing in the
sunshine, so the only way I can vamp is by doing the job
that earns me the title! Yes I take blood from
veins, but nowhere near the neck, and certainly not
with fangs! My vampiring is all appropriate, sterile
and safe!!

Besides, I did say I prefer

Yep, fairies, little people, they're all here, and way nicer than the Bram Stoker type vamps.

I know your type of vampire only too well cos I have a little auto immune hassle which they have to keep pretty tight tabs on, doesn't really slow me down too much but it means into the good old Royal Brisbane every month to have about a dozen tubes sucked out of me. The vampires there are excellent. Really good people most of whom have developed a really great manor to people.

Old Morticias gown did have that kind of classic goth thing going, but she totally could have done the little black dress thing.
