I havent actually got anything to say, I just thought I'd pop in and be friendly.


actually, I'd like to nominate someone for madest and most querky person on h2g2. It's Greebo the Cat. (do search for a friend in advanced search and look for greebo.)If you wish to see how strange some researchers are I suggest you check her out. Her ego is the size of manhatten and is rivelled only by the size of her appetite. I just wanted to mention her to you as a way of illustrating that ther are a variety of strange people her. talk to them all!

and also because I am in Greebo's fan club. he he he he he he
and I like to suck up to her.

here's a new game for you to play.

at the top of your screen is your address bar. the http//www bit

where is says alabaster, take this out and put classic
or, if it says classsic already take it out an out alabaster.
just something to play with for five minutes. I like the classic look my self, it is commonly refered to as Goo and was the original look of this site when it first went on line.

If you decide to play around with the look of your user space then you can do this by using Guide ML. it is a dumbed down html thingy that is recognissed by the server when you make an update and turned in to complicated code then into clever graphics.
if you search for the guide ml clinic you can get lots of help. or if you have a little problem them put it in askh2g2 which i know you have already found. you can get dancing aliens and everything. just look at my space (click on my name at the top of my post. if you want to talk to me then either reply to this post or click on discuss this entry on my page and comment there).



one final point.

lots of people here dont reveal anything about who they are or where they come form. this is not because they dont trust you, its becuse they are paranoid/weird/inprison/scared of stalkers....... and other reasons. this is personal choice and in no way meant to offend any one. I mention it because you have been quite free with info about yourself and i didnt want you to get offended if other people arent. personally i am a fully assimilated borg tribble and i live at the momnet in granny weather wax's apron pocket. but then, if i am in a fan club for a cat what can you expect.

and i am allergic to capital letters which is why i dont use them vey much. hope you can understand me.

I just wanted to give a neewbie some attention. occasionally people join h2g2 then leave after a few days because no one seems to be talking to them. If I happen apon a newbie page I try and leave a message just so they know I noticed they exist.

but about the not understanding me thing................... that's what my mum says..... think it might be me?

that's a bit of a mystery round here. opinion seems to be divided. I am refered to by some people as female and some as male. in actuality tribbles are A-sexual!

I think it's quite clear that I am evil !

do I talk like a girl or a boy? man or woman? I'm actually quite interested to know. ignore my erratic typing, this is not a good indication. I am lazy, dyslexic and have a dodgy keyboard so guessing I am ten years old from the amount of spelling mystakes is not reliable.
My brother is sometimes thought to be a female. although, to be fair, he did admit to wearing a dress and torturing novices on a Netland White Tower roll playing site.
