no, i've never been involved in any circle
to be quite honest with you i was raised catholic, have gone to catholic school all my life, and have therefore decided that catholicism definitely does not work for me
i started reading a little bit about wicca and found it to be rather interesting; i would like to learn more
any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated
how have you been getting along on h2g2?
if you have any questions about anything, i will do my best to answer them

Merry meet.... like i said i am here to answer questions and recruit.. so if you have any just ask, does not matter how silly it may sound, they are valid questions, this is not something you want to go into with any doubts or insecurities.... "es todo bueno!"... how have you been then... where are you from, i am from the southampoton area...

i'm somewhat concerned about deities
i've read that the Goddess is the universe, so i can comfortably substitute the latter term for the former, but i have trouble accepting the idea of a higher consciousness that may be emotionally offended (or pleased) by anything i do (or omit)
i prefer to think of the names of gods and goddesses as lables that lend an attribute to the energy of the universe, thereby allowing an individual to do something with it (such as protect a loved one) instead of the gods and godesses themselves as conscious beings with any control over the physical universe
does this go completely against Wicca, or is it a way of thinking about things that may not be exceptionally welcome in a coven but should suffice for a solitary practitioner?

i'm from New Jersey and last night was the closing of my school's musical production, 'Once Upon a Mattress'
i was in the chorus but it was a lot of fun and i love the entire cast; will miss the guys who were seniors from another school

Our gods are all personal to us... they are the same in theory... they will take different names and mean different things for everyone... there is no right or wrong in wicca, as it is a very personal thing, the only thing that will be the same is morals, rules and some rituals... even some of these may differ in some way but the basics or ideas will be the same... have no fear about upsetting them.. if you are doing what is right in your heart then they will not be offended... follow your instincts...
