Hiya Edd. My name is VIP (very important Princess) and I'm here to say hi from the h2g2 community. h2g2 is a very friendly place, and people will be more that happy to bid you a welcome and join in.
There are forums for everyone here, serious ones, ones about certain topics, silly ones, or random ones. Have a wander. You can see my conversations if you go to my Space at U188069 if you want.
Spaces come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, big ones, simple ones, complex ones, colourful ones, and non-existant ones! One way to make yours more interesting (of you want, of course!) is to visit the GuideML Clinic (A187229) which will guide you through what you will need to add more exciting stuff.
