Cheltenham and Bath?

In a couple of weeks I'll be near Cheltenham until Sunday afternoon 4ish, then moving on to Bath ready for a Tuesday morning appointment on 7th Oct, and I'll have around 24 hours to kill some time. I've seen you say you are open to visitors, and I know I've seen signs to your town every time I go to Gloucestershire so wasn't sure if it was practical. I realise a free Monday isn't much use to you with your job though (plus I'll have Fred).

Do you want to come and see a play?

I'm directing An Evening With Gary Lineker that week, so will be at the theatre every night to see my creation unfold.

We're about an hour 'the other side' of Cheltenham, so it may not be convenient for you. I'd offer to meet you in Gloucester for dinner and a drink if it was any other week.

If I can leave my car close enough to not have to worry about leaving Fred in it for a while I could do that.

My wife is a very able dogsitter. Failing that, it's a short play.

Re-reading Post 1, we're not on Sunday night, so actually if you want to come over on the Sunday, then we could probably whip up dinner or something.

If it's not an inconvenience? I've got to book a B&B for a couple of nights so I'll call them to find out what time I need to check in by (and therefore what time I will have to leave for Bath).

I should mention I'll have been camping in a field for two nights with no shower facilities.

I don't see a problem with you using our shower if you're going to dress for dinner.

er, plan might need to change, sorry. I can't get into the B&B until Monday afternoon, so I'll have to stay in Gloucestershire Sunday night which makes it a bit impractical to come over to you and then back, then go on to Bath the next day.

Oh well, never mind.
