Hi Ben, I'm in the process of subbing your entry, you can find the 'new' version here: A13911662
Your last sentence - I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to sday there, is it that most inhabitants in Monmouthshire would prefer to be English ?

Nice to a cultural neutral drew this one out of the hat.
To be honest, the last sentence was just a bit of a dig at the Welsh because I couldn't think of a better way to finish it off.
And yes, that is roughly what it means. I can testify that no-one in Monmouthshire believes themselves to be Welsh. Of course if it ever becomes English again, they'll all start growing leeks, playing rubgy and singing.
Hmm...perhaps you could paraphrase that into the ending instead. Your call - I don't mind how you change it.

Too old When you're too old at 27, what does that make me ?
School started last Monday here, so the first chaotic week is over

Beginning and ending of holidays change here every year, sometimes, we start in August, sometimes in September.
I've changed the sentence, trying to preserve the meaning of yours without being offensive, tell me if I succeeded.

Great job.
One little thing, the link you've put in has expanded the sidebar to silly portions. Better to give it a title:
Horatio Nelson

Yeah, I thought it looked odd, and with this funny white line running down it - but I couldn't spot what was wrong. I had accidentally posted the link twice . But at least there was a link, unlike what I did with my own entry today, where the links didn't show at all because I didn't name them Very practical, but I amended it.
Ok, a question:
>>pales under comparison to<< English prepositions are a nightmare, shouldn't it be in comparison to? Or maybe when compared to ?

Hi Ben, I've returned your entry yesterday, and now look: it has a fantastic blob
Looks as if I'm at least lucky with my subbed entries, because my own entries don't get any blobs
Btw, you posted a in the steam cooking entry earlier, any reason for that ?
