Anyway, I'll get back to my job in hand...

I'm VIP (very important Princess) and part of my job as an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) is to welcome newbie to the wonderful world of h2g2. And wonderful it is- there are so many people here with so many societies, clubs and the like that there will be people here who you click with. Another thing is that people here are friendly and will always be pleased to speak to you- new or not. That's the rule, not the exception. I love it here!

You're Space is you're way of saying hi to people. Mine is big, brightly coloured and a bit mad. Other peoples are more subtle. But the only way to do that is to get to grips with GuideML- try the Clinic (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/A187229) which sould help you out a bit. It's not that tricky, really. Smileys can be located by double-clicking on any thiat you find- like this one .

You can change you're name and details by clicking on 'Preferences' eother on the top bar or down the side of the page. Think carefully about you're name, because it will probably what you will be known as for most of you're time here.
