plakulapol! finland is a cold and mysterious place. the finns are too. are you doing a post doc or continuing grad work? i also did pharmacological work;anesthetics/cardiac glycosides before finally blazing out on the ifamous "endogenous psychotogen", the putative causative agent producing schizophrenia. finally realized teaching offerred a more relaxed lifestyle, did it for 23 years and retired to the backwoods of minnesota on a lake. actually this is a cold and mysterious place too!

I'm actually still an undergraduate student. Gives me a bit more time to relax in between all the hard serious studying parts
But it's great. And, as you pointed out, finns are indeed lovely people, although I find that they have a low "national selfesteem". They make it seem as if everything is better outside finland. Personally I think it is quite the oppostie. We just had a few very nice winter days. Lots of sun, not to cold. lots of snow. Wonderfull.

Never been to the USSo don't know to much about it. But you make it sound as if minnesota is a great place to visit sometime. The problem is however, that being a student I don't have a lot of moeny to spend on travels. And there is a huge amount of places I have to visit already... Maybe it's time to get rich. Got any good advise about lottery numbers?
