Thanks . By the way, I forgot to say, I really love the way you look, clothes, hair etc. Where do you get your clothes from? You can't get anything that stylish round here.

That's very kind of you to say so! I've got a bit of a '60s obsession... Most of my clothes are vintage and there are quite a few vintage shops in London. However, the Internet is a good source of stuff, especially auction sites. Have you ever looked for things online? I don't know how I managed in the old days!

No, not yet, but of course it's only recently that I've had this much time on my hands at work to go surfing. Any particular sites you like?

Ahh do you work on the Internet too? The auction sites I use - well, the obvious ones really - eBay and Popula. Brilliant for deadstock shoes!

I don't work on the internet as such. I just don't have much genuine work to do any more. As I have free internet access at work - it's worth going in, just for that!

We've been taken over by another company, whose finance dept is in Coventry. I therefore sit at the same desk I always have done, but I'm now working for Powergen instead of TXU. The integration will not be final until end of April, and in the mean time a lot of us have no work to do. They have not taken away our internet access though, hence my recent foray into the world of H2G2. I've hopefully got an interview in Coventry on Monday 3rd Feb, and if all goes well, I should be moving there.

I know very little about Coventry, except the Specials are from there and Coventry City FC's logo involves a footballing elephant...

I've never been there! I've been doing quite a lot of research tho'. Plus the guys in the office there have been really helpful. I'll be having a look around next week - I've booked 3 nights in a hotel, and I'll be having a look at some properties to rent, and getting a feel for the place. Bit sad that I'll miss Enterprise and Smallville on Monday night, but at least they're repeated on Sunday!
