I've checked the picture library, and it's packed full of great stuff, but what I'd really, really like is a pic of a nice, hot, frothy cappuccino, with a generous sprinkling of chocolate.
And if you have any influence with the 'smiley' people, a cappuccino smiley would be much nicer than the present mug.
Not that I'm obsessed with cappuccino, you understand!

Actually, Kaeori *is* obsessed with her cappuccinos, and seems to have trouble stringing more than a few witty keystrokes together without a regular supply (please refer to her British English thread entries on days when the cappuccino shop was shut !!
Anyway, I support Kaeori's request for a suitably artistic 'smiley'.
Cappuccino and coffee (the existing mug 'smiley') are as different as chalk and cheese, happy and sad, Hale and Pace (whoops, where did *that* come from ??).
We (the collective Researchers of the British English Thread and many others) will be for ever in your debt if you can swing it !

Thanks, Sri, for the wonderful picture of a recorder you did for my article. It was accurate and captured the old-fashioned feel of this instrument perfectly.
I am delighted to here you love taking things apart. My favourite pastime is putting them together again, hence my interest in jigsaws, computer maintenance and do-it-yourself.
I wish to support Kaeori in her request for a Cappucino smiley or blob. I don't drink the stuff myself but am surrounded by people who do. But don't believe here when she says she's not obsessed!

Hey all
Always glad when people like the pics.
Regarding the request for a cappuccino smiley - whilst I myself actually prefer to drink cafe lattes with a little froth on top, that's beside the point...eh...erm...I was saying?
Oh yeah. Actually having been the one to make all those smileys I'm taking a little rest from them after having them inflitrate my dreams after the last effort. There are always more smileys that people want created. Special ones. Personal ones. Classy ones. All sorts for all sorts of individuals. Sooo...rather than responding to every request I get (nothing personal you understand) I would suggest that you travel over to the smileys page and get some sort of petiton/request post going for new ones. Maybe once we've ascertained that there are a few that a lot of people want then perhaps we can dedicate a little time to doing some more.
But for now, I'm really very sorry. Ordinary coffee + a healthy dose of imagination will have to suffice.
But hey - imagination is a very healthy thing and should be encouraged. So I'm going to take the point of view on this one that by not making a cappuccino smiley I'm encouraging your imagination to do a little more work
Best wishes and carry on smiling
Sri.

Thanks anyway.
Perhaps I should do an article about cappuccino, as a sort of encouragement to add a great big pic to the picture library.
If you do add any coffee pics to the pictire library (not the smiley page), perhaps you could let me know.
Oh, and many thanks for helping to make h2g2 such a great looking place.

Definitely a good idea to do an article on cappuccino. There must be a whole lot of history to that wonderful liquid.
I'll surely let you know if I do create a cappuccino illustration too.
All the best,
Sri

My cappuccino article hit the front page today, and I was doubly thrilled to see a beautiful cappuccino pic to go with it.
Thank you *so* much!

You're welcome! Remembered the request, thought the image might come in useful but didn't realise at the time it was your article. Congratuations
