Me must agree that Edam cheese is rather nice... especially the Babybel variety... which me is happy to report is now vegetarian and can be enjoyed by all... er... well... all those that can eat cheese in there diet that is...

You may be interested to know that I've now come back from the supermarket having done my research. I bought lots of Edam and spent the day writing lots of *useful* information about it.

There are now some very *interesting* recipes and stuff. I've even managed to work out how to put in a picture of a cheese.

I'm off to test some new recipes to see if they work. I thought I'd try a vegetarian version of stuffed Edam using onions, potatoes and peppers.

Any suggestions welcomed...

Oh my... the vegie stuffed Edam sounds wonderful... ~grin~.. One suggestion me has for you though is maybe you should do your write up as a guide entry... rather than on your homepage... you could then submit it to be a Guide Entry... try clicking on the Add Guise Entry button... and then transfer your work via cut and paste to the new page...

Your home page is intended to introduce yourself to others on the guide... though... me does suppose yours does do that... ~Grin~

One observation about you entry about Edam... it has an awful lot of HEADERS in it... makes it a little difficlut to read at times... but me does like it and me is sitting here waiting for the recipes... ~Grin~

Oh... edited entries do not allow the marquee tag... so don't make the cheese fly around your guide entries... ~grin~

Hi PJ... me thinks it something to do with all guide entries having to be the same... hmmm... and upsettingly the Towers is actually thinking about getting rid of the Marquee tag completely... so if they decide it goes... then there will be no more anything whizzing about H2G2... ~sad grin~

They can't get rid of the flying cheese! I haven't been this excited in ages.

I've also updated the guide entry so that it's spelt correctly, written in the third person and I even used subheadings and links.

Luckily I've got one of those jobs where I only have access to the BBC website and nothing else. I've been here four years and only discovered h2g2 five days ago after being tipped off by a friend (thanks PeeJ!)

My talent is borne from pure boredom of the tedious job I do. Also I would never have found the site never mind been able to write anything without help from people like you and everyone else who has helped me.

If I ever win an award I'll be sure to mention you all....

Must go now. I'm just testing which wines go best with Edam. So far I've only tried the whites and the South Eastern Australian Semillion Chardonnay goes down a treat with a nice chunk of the delightful cheese.

Me always says... if something is worth mentioning... its definately got to be the orange and black... doughnut fixated internet cat called Greebo... ~big grin~... gives everyone something to think about then...

Hmm... you'll get everyone jealous tasting wines and cheese online... me prefers a nice glass of cold milk... but each to their own right???
