Sorry dear, I haven't got my PC back yet- Dad's *supposed* to be bringing it 'round tonight, which means you should get your piccy in the morning. Of course if dad manages to keep in character and forget, you won't. You will get it soon, promise.

Yes, still a distinct new hairstyle hazard. Our tame elctriction is due 'round in two weeks.
At the moment I'm pretending to work- in the evenings I'm sorting all the new bills and stuff out

Ain't it great. I watched a worring amount of my pay disappear into phone companies and credit company's accounts yesterday 
btw- Dad's gone on holiday *without* bringing me the PC, so I'm going after work to get it for my bloody self.

My dad is normally great, but he had to hand the phone to my mother today, because he didn't understand my explanation that my sim card had arrived, and I was back on my old phone number. Considering he's had a mobile phone for around 15 years, I didn't think that would be beyond him.

Knowing how to use a phone and knowing how it works are two*very* different things- I mean, do you know exactly what loadqm does? It runs in the background on Windows PCs pretty much all the time...

Yes, it's something to do with something or other, queue manager iirc. I looked it up once when I was trying to clear up all the shite running on my pc all the time, sucking the power away from h2g2. I can't remember if it was something that I could turn off or not though. I thought I had as it goes. Hmmm...
