Guide Entries

So. I'm thinking of actually doing something productive and writing a guide entry. I know what it's going to be on, but I have to get it back for Ambre first. I wrote it for her knowledge. Heh heh. I hope I get it soon...

Archie

Do any of you know who Arch Hall Sr is? He's a brilliant director. He's directed some of the movies that his son, Arch Hall Jr. have starred or co-starred in. Some of his credits include "Eegah" (which is now being honored on MST 3K) and "The Sadist". My friends and I ove the part in Eegah when Arch is walking out in the desert looking for his 'daughter' and he's so hot his face is bright red. Unfortunately, it looks like he has third degree burns. It's gold. Hee hee. Speaking of MST 3K, last Saturday's was "Devil Fish" and what's really sad is that even Eegah was better than this. Oh my. Wonder what's next weeks?

Plaid Pants

I just got a pair of plaid pants. They're really cool: the colors are red and blue and white and this tan shade. It looks a lot cooler than it sounds, trust me. I think everyone should get their own pair of plaid pants. They're an important fashion accessory. Not that I'm one who's 'in' with the fashion crowd. Honestly, I'm scared to wear them to school. But they're fun to wear at home...some people who come over give you the funniest looks.

Star Trek: Chain Reaction

Ooohh! Star Trek marathon! They had some pretty good episodes on yesterday. I loved "Journey to Babel". It was gold. I missed the first couple shows, though...it started at 7 am, and I got up at 10. Hmm...I think my dad might have taped them...

MAP System

I am determined to make a matter-antimatter propellsion system. I don't care if it's not possible. I'll make up some other ways to propell a starship. Yes, that's right. A STARSHIP. Ok, I might be crazy. But watching Star Trek and various other space shows have gotten me hooked. Please agree with me on one point, though...we're wasting power when we lift off. We could be using all that extra energy in something more important, like enviromental systems and/or better engines(than I intend to make, anyway) etc. etc. It doesn't matter that Star Trek isn't real, nothing of the sorts happened yet (that we know about) and a mere 15 year old girl will not, can not come up with the plan the leading scientific space researchers haven't. People, it's called faith. Did I mention I plan to work at NASA? Anyway, I have a few technical books, some graph paper, and my trusty computer here, so I can pull it off. Come back in awhile and see. And 40 years from now, when we're traveling all over space in our new STARSHIPS you'll think back and say, "Gee, I really should have paid attention to that girl back at H2G2...I could have helped." Hey, you never know. It COULD happen.
