If you're in the 5th year of a drought, any rain seems like a rainstorm.
Yes, being an engineer is just as exciting as it sounds. However, it pays really well. Combined with the fact that I have no house or car loans, nor a girlfriend/wife to support, and I have a very comfortable financial situation.

Ahhh. The sweet life. I've just had two job prospects sit themselves at my feet; so I hope to be somewhere different in a few weeks in financial status... 
Rain though. The mind boggles.

It seems to have let up for the moment. Yesterday and today there have been at least 50 car accidents attributed to the rain. These stupid people drive in rain just like the would in normal weather, and get surprised when their cars get out of control.
