Good Lord!

I have actually WRITTEN something. 16/17 are done, and 18 is somewhat halfway through. It's only really one of those stop over periods, because I haven't anything else to say on the other side of things. I have a feeling that the little catalyst idea will come back to haunt me later in life. But I suppose it is meant to be like that...otherwise what would be the point.
B****r. The problems of not wanting to give away plot details makes things that I want to share very obscure and bizarre.
Anyway, I don't want to speak too soon. Think I might be back on track with the old book. Doesn't feel *THAT* long before it will be done...

Yeah, I noticed the odd request for info on the "Ask H2G2" thread. "Where do catholic priests live?"
I almost posted "You mean they don't live in the Priestcave, which you can get to from the church via a hidden passage, through which you slide on the Priestpole? And they don't have a secret hidden garage door through which they drive the Priestmobile every night to go fight crime?"

Oh my God. That would be hilarious.
Can you imagine the rubber PriestSuits?
Mind you, t'is only a few paragraphs. Agonising stuff...

Well they've got the Popemobile! I bet it has an ejector seat and cannons! I wonder if the windshield washers use holy water?
Good Lord!
Saturnine Posted Jan 3, 2003
Do you think that the Pope is actually an alien inside a machine...like in "Men in Black"?
Good Lord!
clzoomer- a bit woobly Posted Jan 3, 2003
Nah, I think he has no superpowers like Batman but all the Cardinals are like Robin (Hey- Cardinals/Robin...hmmm) It's all about the gadgets and the cool clothes and stuff.

I don't know. He does shake rather a lot...
...could be an energy build up to shoot lasar beams from his eyes...

*realises this may be too soon to make bad sexist but humourous comment but decides he'll take his chance*

He lived in the same B&B as me a while back. Kept a bunch of goldfish. Called them all George...for some reason.

Interesting! Saddam Hussein's second cousin twice removed has the lease on the building next to mine! What a coincidence!
So do you come here often, can I buy you a drink?

Wampus Posted Jan 4, 2003
Hmm...vodka and coke. Well, I like coke, and I don't dislike vodka...now I'm curious.
Good Lord!
clzoomer- a bit woobly Posted Jan 4, 2003
The better a vodka is the less there should be a taste, so give it a try.
*wonders who this bar-hopping conversation interrupter is...*
