Figures. Most of western europe seems to have it down to a fine art to split their voting in such a way as to ensure that nobody west of Italy has to stage the wretched thing anymore.

I actually think that Wogan is pretty ideally suited. I caught about five minutes of his performance on saturday and it is far more subtle and rude than most could get away with...

Wogan manged to shock Ms Roslin this morning when, during some Russian music to celebrate Russian independence day, he made reference to a Russian woman "Miss Bakiabic, Anya Bakiabic"
