How's it going so far, you enjoying your ride on the information superhigway? Hope you're getting the hang of everything, I'm sure you've found it easy to pick up, especially with all the support from the folk of h2g2!

I'm *still* awaiting CD-ROM from a researcher, and I can't get the hang of Trilliam IM-ing.

Otherwise, it is GREAT!

I've never used trillian, but then I'm not overly keen on IMing. Glad to hear you've got to grips with it fairly quickly and without too much stress!

I like to IM. It's good for quick conversations.

I'm still a little bamboozeled by a few things. Downloading ain't fun all the time...

Downloading can be a pain in the a*se no matter how long you've been around computers And you can expect things to go wrong and want to attack your PC with an axe ocasionally, but it's all part of the world of PC ownership unfortunately. And hootoo is full of techies who'll help out if you need it (I'm lucky enough to live with a Computer Science masters student, so I'm ok most of the time )

But once you get used to it, you can't imagine how you did without!

Ohhh the axe thing. Been doing that tonight.
