I did a bit of a lurk with the Stealth Kam thread. I would like to help but I feel like I would be intruding. Can an old soul help carry a troubled young one?

I think he's alright. He's just gone through a bad patch like I do. Only difference is that I seem to have a better hold on what I vomit out onto everyone else than he (or anyone else come to that) does. Bless him. I'm not sure anything anyone could say would really do much - except alter his perception a little. The thing is, most suicidal thoughts come right before eveything brightens up again. So I think he will be Ok. I hope anyway.

First time that's ever happened to me. I had a bad flash that one day something could happen to you and I would be thousands of miles away. Scary.

Ok. I'm not following now. I feel a bit more now. But I'm not sure how that links in with the above post.

I read his thread from the beginning when he was sounding suicidal. I felt helpless being far away in both space and time. Wondered how I would feel if you told me there was a fire there or something.

I have no secrets. Just things about everyday life I don't tell you because I find that they are unsettling to other people.

If you are talking about the scars you said you have, I wish I had been around you then. Come to think of it I wish you had been around me the last time I had troubles like that. Of course, you would have been 8!

Might not have been so fun back then...
Scars - not particularly bothered by them. It's all the underlying things I have to deal with. Particularly to do with my parents. But that kind of thing brings up issues that might cast dodgy shadows on things between us, and I don't want to touch on anything that will spoil anything. If tht makes sense.
I'm here and that's all that matters.

Hey. I am not a perve.
Am I?
I don't know. When I come up with something good. Recently I've been getting to sleep/getting up too quickly to come up with anything...

Well, I certainly hope you are! I am and that's why I thought we got along so well!
Work it girl! I deserve a little of your genius. I added more to the box today!

OOh. What things?
I decided that with my limited resources, I could probably stretch to making you a (very cliche of a) mixed up tape...don't know why I want to... But would you like me to? Wish I could burn you a CD, but me = technologically crippled

Can't burn you one either since the *big* computer is on set for *I Robot* now. Will buy a couple of compilations maybe.
Presently it has:
a good smelling cologne sample with a cheesy name
a Kikkoman miso soup packet
room service vouchers for Bally's Las Vegas
a Williams Lake Stampede mini-poster
a picture of Naz and me and Santa and Jenae
a xerox of my hands
my business card
Pretty lean, but that only takes up about a tenth of the space. And before you say anything about the soup packet, I will put chocolates, etc. in just before I ship it so they aren't stale.

"I Robot"?????????
So is that a yes or an evasive no? Do you want me to make you one or not? I don't have to spend the two hours or so assembling it with my naked hands y'know...
Don't forget the t-shirt!!!!!
Old man
clzoomer- a bit woobly Posted Jan 28, 2003
Ah, the T shirt. Two days old and sweaty or not.... I fear it may not smell very well after a month in the post.
Of course I would love one, but I thought you couldn't?
This is the very beginnings of the list. Prepare for lots o' stuff!

Wrap the t-shirt in clingfilm (whats the yank term? seran wrap?) and then the air won't get in as easy.
I can't burn you a CD (which is more conveninet) but I can make you a tape. You know. Cassette thingys. Like in the olden days...
Ooh. Stuff. How I love stuff. I'm enjoying being spoilt like this.
