Hi there, seen your name in Metal Music, Autopsy, Tattoo's and other threads but the main reason for saying "ello was your posting on Justin the Mad Bigot page.
I looked him up 'cause I've heard about him elsewhere and was gonna post but you have said what i wanted to say but with more more restaint and eloquence than i could manage!

Justin the Preacher. OHHHHhhhhhh please lets not go there. He'd pushed me to the end of my tether...!!

Nosing around your user space, I see you have taken the brave step of working from home to get the book written. Some years ago, my band took time out to concentrate on touring (a very minor affair) but chickened out after 3 months of no income!!
Even though I live in london, my regular and favourite record shop used to be in Bristol! (I went there once a week for work) I would go through the town centre, past the University, up the hill to Clifton and at the top on the right was a tiny independant record shop. It used to have a fantastic range of punky stuff that I could not find anywhere else.
I would like to thank you for putting me off ever doing record reviews. I had kinda planned a Stooges retrospective but after seeing the two part Anti-Christ Superstar, I now feel totally humiliated in thinking mine was in-depth!
You'll never reply to me again when I tell you that I prefer the other two MM albums to "A. Superstar"!!!!!!!

Which "other two"?? There were two before, three after and one on it's way!! I like all of them...although I think the last one was a little...not odd, but not aimed at his fans. More making a statement to the outside world after Columbine.
You like the MM article then?
It's in-depth? There are loads more I want to say, but I'm on digi-box and there are limited memory reserves. Hence the two parts. I'm aiming it for Edited status as well as getting it onto the front page...so when I submit it, make sure you go along and put your 2p's worth.
Having no cash is hard. But unfortunately, this writing thing is something I "have" to do...past any kind of socially acceptable stance in life. I'm hoping desperately that I can get it finished soon...*really* don't want to get a job But I reckon I can do it without having to, and without having to sign on...
There's a great quote from the film "Slam"...where the lead character says "My only responsibility is to my dream"...and it says it all for me...

Sorry about confusion!
I'm a bit in the dark pre- A/Christ.
I've heard some spooky kids stuff but don't own any.
By the other two I meant Mechanical Animal & Holywood.

Ah, well I am a bit of a Manson buff I must admit. I reckon I could have written a better article than the one up for Review right now, but I didn't get there in time. *shows off some more*...
Pre-Antichrist, the albums are pretty good...more with a comical edge of reasons that will be explained in my next article...cos I've decided I might as well do "Portrait of an American Family" and "Smells like Children" (or "Resident Evil" if you have the original version like I do) next...perhaps it will make you want to go and get them. Hopefully it will anyway...
Mechanical Animals was the first one I got into properly, so it's always more listenable to me than others, but like I said, I recognised too easily that HolyWood was directed at other people than me. I'm practically wetting myself in anticipation for the next one...I can't wait...!

I thought I was the only person who still read M. Moorcock!
Elric of course ..
Corum ...
The Count Brass stuff ....
Have not read for many years but now I think it's time to delve again!
Ooooh, I've just peeked at Bibleboys user space (know thine enemy!) and he appears to have unsuscribed from the majority of threads..... I hope it's nothing we've said!!

The Corum/Count Brass stuff is next on the line. I recently tried to read Blood and the one about the tortured Queen, but I couldn't get into them. I love Elric the best...
Will have a look at Justin's page now!!!
