h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi Jaffa Cakes.

Here is the update on our escape.

The decision was made that the Chief Teamaker and Keeper of the Cakes should attempt the escape first, leaving the others to follow on behind, although that part of the plan wasn't communicated to Bob for some reason.

So Peej and I set off in Peej's mini on an interstellar route similar to the M25.

Unfortunately due to our failure to appoint an engineer we had to replace the beloved mini shortly after our escape. Which was followed by a Ford Focus, a Toyota and a Citroen C3. At one point we even borrowed a disability scooter from some dodgy looking galactican.

Sadly, we both lost our log in details on the voyage. However, we made it safely back to earth and lived happily ever after. So happily in fact that we added a new member to the committee who has just turned 8.

The story was not so happy for some who have not been heard of since and poor Bob is still oblivious is some distant galaxy wondering why we haven't turned up to the last 14 years meetings....
