Actually, if you look at the history of s and the like, apparently, when they flew about on there sticks, the brush end was at the front.

Parent's Evening.
Apparently she's about two years ahead with her maths but has a total inability to sit still and concentrate.
It was still frightening though. Like when you have to wait outside the headmaster's office.
