Hello and welcome to h2g2 we are a friendly bunch and like to greet the newcomers so i thought i would stop by and say hello.

Dear Timelord,
Thank you for your message. Yes, this is a friendly place! H2G2 is a wonderful legacy for DNA - a community of like minded souls sharing of themselves and their views. I was part of the old H2G2 before the Beeb took over. The flavour has changed a little bit. This is not necessarily a bad thing!
