Eccentrica Gallumbits (I'm out of my mind right now, but feel free to leave a message.) Started conversation May 21, 2002
I was intrigued when I first noticed you interacting with Oor Jimmy so I came to have a look.
For some reason that look convinced me you were an old, old pair of researchers (pre-Rupert) returning.
Your remarks in other threads since then have intrigued me more and more, but when I came back for a second look the dates that had me thinking you were ancient mariners seem to have disappeared.
I was sure there had been conversations on your page that you'd posted in last year or the year before. Did I misread the dates or has there been a timewarp?
Any old shoes, tell Auntie Eccsy about yourselves. What makes you tick, what rattles your cage? (apart from Man's selfish animal breeding practices). Who art thou? (Are you two - or just a split poissonality? - I'm in two minds about it myself )
it's taken me three hours to write this. I do wish people would stop interrupting
Do tell.
(That's one each),

Hi Eccsy
We are two, late forties/early fifties: a unit, getting wed in August this year, second time arounders. No we didn't do it before and we're no relation either.
Jimmy's a breath of fresh air, his text dialect is beautifuly poetic. Hope we didn't frighten him away.
Our backgrounds, varied, mostly disfunctional.
We'll haunt the bars for a while as we're still settling in. Got to do something with our profile, may'be scrap and start agin.
Speak again later............it's the witching hour!

The Dragon King Trilogy? The Song of Albion? The Pendragon Cycle? The answers are some, most, all. (Or did you mean a different trilogy?) Congratulations. Hope the wedding day is wonderful. My hubby and I are second time arounders too. (Well, it's his first but my third so I've taken an average ;-)) I think you stand more chance 'cos you kinda know what not to do :-/ Jimmy's bound to be pleased to know you find him poetic. You can find some of his actual poemsies at U37312 and a picture of his predecessor's birth at http://glesga.freeyellow.com/wumbeevilbirth.htm 8-) and there's lotsa luvverly dialect here...http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F9404?thread=100886&skip=200&show=20 from post 210 on (and on and on...) (and you could do worse than visiting here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/n2g2/message/55 ) Actually, if you do visit, we'd be more than happy if you'd like to bring your tent and sleeping bags with you and stay for a while at the Campfire of Chaos. (aka n2g2chatter http://groups.yahoo.com/group/n2g2/) We're always glad to welcome more lunatics to our campsite. It's been far too quiet lately. I have sometimes even found myself pining for the bad old days when Jimmy, in his guise of the young Wumbeevil, roared around the site in his motorised coffin, wearing a fetching gingham dress and glove puppet.

Hey Tefkat,
Thank you for your warm felicitations, we've got to do this deed or we'll both go pop, and yes a dry run or two before hand does seem to help.
We adore 's but are currently deprived from inviting any to come share.
The "Mother" has three small blue hawks, and whilst they're not particularly nervous of 's's or . They are particularly irritating creatures and would drive any good pussy to homicide. This would almost certainly upset the "Mother", and we can't have that. So no 's........
We lost our very dearest friend a few years ago, his name was Byron, he was a unique and beautiful friend, much loved and badly missed..
The Lawhead Trilogy, we suppose it's the Pendragon Cycle: Taliesin, Merlin, Arthur. Ring any bells? and if so have you read them?
Thanks for the many generous links, we'll definately visit the CoC, sounds like our sort of place.
We had no idea Jimmy was a ruminant, how sad. If we'd known we'd have gone for a more sensitive handling, cos we're partial to 'ish with a flare for fashion.
Just had a taste of Jimmy's proes, a craftsman of the Bic no less. Have to sound him out on Roger McGough. Hmmmmmmmmm..........
The birthing of Wumbeevil certainly needed more than one midwife and several blankets. The gravity position is we understand quite ethnic for Glasgow.

Thanks Tefkat, The virtual tour of Glasgow was indeed grim though Jimmy McCludgy's "Peotry Corner" brought a little light into what was portrayed as a dark corner.
It certainly makes us appreciate not having to reside in an inner City. Living not far from Anne Widicombes backyard, we only have to put up with the rural crime wave, Tory councils and chinless masses of the south east!
's and 's are where you find them we suppose.
