Coincidence?
Odd?
Well, strange anyway..
I have a friend called Chris Chapman who studied computer science in some form or another.. except he's in Edinburgh now.
Hi.. I'm Reasearcher 197858.

Hi, Researcher 197858! I'm sorry I stole your friend's name.
Your friend's middle name isn't Ezekiel, is it? That would be really freaky. Not that it's my middle name - mine is Luke - it would just be weird.

Well, you know, I've never actually asked him if he has a middle name but I'll be sure to do so the next time I speak to him. I agree, Ezekial would be weird.. although I'm not sure why. Being new here I guess I'm just going to nod and coo for a while and agree with what everyone else says.. until I find my feet, of course.

Ah, didn't realise you were new here. I bid you welcome, though I've not exactly got much h2g2 experience under my belt either. I expect an ACE will be along to give you the official greeting soon, though. Don't worry about accidentally saying or doing anything wrong - in my experience, everyone here is really friendly and civil, and accommodating of everyone, no matter how new they are.

Wow, I can't believe I said 'I bid you welcome'. What a dweeb.

That's ok. I'm a dweeb too. My ultimate dream is to work in the games industry - does that make me a dweeb? Probably..
